Gilstead Hall is a Grade II listed property, dating back to 1726, and has spent time as both a private residence and a boys boarding school. The property boarders Weald Country Park, and has regular visits from the local deer, boar and also has a resident family of moorhens, who make use of the beautiful pond. As well as the listed Hall, which is complete with its own well and underground tunnels, the estate is also home to a Lodge and 10 cottages.
